February’s specialized seminar covers intellectual property issues affecting web developers, software engineers, and computer scientists, regardless of the industry.
Topics include patent and copyright protection of software and business methods. The class will emphasize case law and pending legislation related to patentable subject matter including case law developments in the wake of the 2010 Supreme Court decision of the Bilski case.
Those who should attend include software business owners, startups, in house counsel, and business attorneys.
Please note: This class will meet in Meeting Room 2 on the Library's High Street Level.
