Bruce Johnson of Naracoorte won the shark section with a 25.6 kilogram shark, Peter Rowsell of Happy Valley topped the ladder in the stingray section with a 31.6 kilogram catch, and Kingston's Hayden Bastiaans' 4.17 kilogram Mulloway was a clear winner in the Junior section. A total of 795 seniors and 121 Juniors entered the fishing contest, and a total of 76 fish were caught.
