- Overview: Recently there has been a lot of buzz around rapid web application
development frameworks leveraging scripting languages and coding by
convention. Leveraging the power of the Spring framework and Hibernate
ORM, Grails is a rapid web application development framework based on
the Java scripting language Groovy. This presentation will give an
overview of the features of Grails and how it can be used to very
quickly code and deploy production ready web applications using the
coding by convention paradigm. Be amazed at the speed and power with
which complicated tasks can be achieved with a minimum of code and
