Daily - daylight hours. Aberdeen was named for a local salmon cannery, a namesake of Aberdeen, Scotland, because it is situated at the mouth of two rivers just like a cannery in Aberdeen, Scotland. Cosmopolis is the oldest city on Grays Harbor, since a donation land claim filed there in 1852. It was incorporated in 1891.The city was named in 1853 and means "city of the world". Walk along scenic waterfront, through downtown and over many bridges. Walk follows an old railway bed that has been converted to a paved trail and connects Aberdeen to Cosmopolis. (11K & 20K include Railway Heritage and 20K includes Cemetery Stroll)
